Peace, tribe.
The past few months of introspection and going within, svadhyāya, have been truly insightful. As a person with an Aries sun sign, I am naturally good at initiating and moving at the speed of light….but this time to myself has offered me the perspective of how valuable moving slowly and intentionally is. At this phase in my life, I plan on taking my time and leaning into what really lights me up.
While surveying my inner landscape, I realized how I unintentionally let my passion fall to the wayside while trying to do what I thought others wanted of me or what would deem me “good” in the eyes of others.
If you know me, you know that I am passionate (read high-key obsessed) about birth and birthwork. After all, I am a certified birth doula, and about to be a certified postpartum doula…I wanted to be an obstetrician from 8 to 18 until I learned about midwives. Another passion of mine is writing, whether it be poems or my thoughts throughout the day. I have written two books, one workbook, and countless articles for myself and others. The written word is my favorite vehicle of communication.
With all of that being said, We Heal Too will continue as an online publication as I am sure Ancestral traditions around birth and wellness are sure to come up in my research on my journey as a 5/1 Splenic Projector. I will be prioritizing A Nurtured Birth, my new publication that will focus on all things birth: preconception, prenatal, childbirth, postpartum, and beyond. I will also be incorporating the spiritual and energetic elements of birth such as initiation, death, rebirth, and re-parenting so regardless if you are birthing a physical child or not, there might be something valuable for you in that space. If this topic is of interest to you, please join me over at A Nurtured Birth as that is where most of my energy will be centered.
Also, if you need support, I am accepting 1:1 clients. Group workshops will come later on in the year. Click here to learn more. Tell a friend to tell a friend.
